Jishu Tarafder is an expert leadership & management development professional from Bangladesh. In the mid nineteen eighties Jishu started his career as an entry-level executive in the hospitality industry. However, within a few years, with his enthusiasm, dynamism and perseverance he started securing leadership roles. Since then he has held many key managerial & leadership positions in the areas of Sales & Marketing, HRD & General Management at several 5-star hotels, group of companies and training institutes in Bangladesh as well as overseas. Jishu has a career history of more than thirty years and he has carried out an extensive research in the field of human capacity & competency development. He has a vast teaching, coaching, mentoring and consulting experience in first class international hotel chains, banks, corporate training companies, real estate companies, hospitality institutes, print & electronic media, telecommunications, ICT companies, airlines, MNCs, local conglomerates, RMG manufacturing companies, pharmaceuticals, leather goods manufacturing companies, business chambers, government organizations, UN organizations, etc.

Jishu holds several international professional training qualifications including a qualification as a certified trainer and assessor of Technical & Further Education (TAFE), Australia.

Besides his training and management skills, Jishu has an excellent flair for visual arts i.e. painting, photography, and videography. So far, he has participated in a number of group art exhibitions and held two solo painting exhibitions. He also holds an M.A degree in film & media.
